Social Media Marketing Intern at FreightSource

My first working / internship experience was at a freight company called FreightSource. During my year internship, I was able to start and manage multiple social media accounts for the company, which broadened company reach and brought in new clients.

Team Member at Davinci's Donuts

During my gap year, I worked at a donut shop. This was my first experience working in customer service and working in a kitchen. I was able to start to develop my customer service skills along with learn valuable things relating to running a food business. I realized that I loved working in a kitchen.

Host at The Hound

In the start of my sophomore year, I worked as a host at The Hound. I was able to learn how to treat guests like family, along with many front-of-house skills. I was able to learn how seating guests, taking reservations, and timing for the kitchen works.

Pastry Cook for Ithaka Hospitality Group

During my sophomore year, I worked as a pastry cook at the Laurel Hotel. My passion lies in pastry and baking, so working in the pastry kitchen was a dream come true to me. I was able to learn how to work in the back of the house, use recipes, convert measurements, manage BEO's, and so much more!
