My Education

My Journey at Auburn University

When I began looking for potential college options, I set my focus on riding horses competitively in college. I toured several schools, tried out for teams, but ultimately made the decision that I wanted riding to be fun in college and my way to get away from the stress, instead of adding to it. I always wanted to get away from my small town, but not go too far. I graduated high school early and took a gap year working, so I felt like I needed a place where I could live off campus and continue my life that I had already started.

I came and toured Auburn with my dad and it instantly felt like home. My dad and I fell in love with it and brought my mom back a few months later. Everyone was in love- so much so that my parents followed me down and moved to Auburn a year later!

I started my journey only focusing on Business Management but before my Sophomore year, I decided to double major in Hospitality. I have always loved cooking and baking, but I think I would lose my passion for it if it were my job. Since I have always loved management, I thought that Hotel and Restaurant Management would be a perfect fit for me. I didn't want to compromise my Business Management: Entrepreneurship major, so I decided why not do both!

Auburn has shaped me into a more customer oriented individual and has provided experiences to guide my learning. I cannot wait for the future!
